I am also lost for words, except that somewhere in that story were some negligent parents.
 

It Would be really ahrsh to say that there were negligent parents... unless you knew the facts of the murder... but for my comment on this... those kids should treated like adults and recieve no pity from the authority and i mean they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law... it is very sad when crap like this happen especially in a pplace where you grow up....
 

I first heard of this story yesterday. I am still in shock. 6 YEARS OLD!?!?!?! What is even much more shocking is that a 14-year-old is capable of such a vicious crime. Oh my GOD!! My heart goes out to the family of the boy. Those teenagers should be killed. Seriously! The crime against children is something which is evidently gripping other Caribbean countries. Jamaica included. A juvenile murdered daily here. Seriouly. So much so, that your Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves visited a school here affected by one of the recent juvenile killings, Mona High, on this past Thursday. He gave his condolences and greeted the classmates of the slain child.

On a brighter note, I didn't know Ralph Gonsalves was such a dancer! See for yourself!!
 

Kas,my PM is many things.I can imagin ehow he had those kids eating out of his hands.As to that story am still stunned.I have officially given up on humanity.

If the teens really did it, I think they should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. honestly I think the should be killed in the same manner as how the poor child was killed.
 

I am not big on death penalties, but I in cases where the guilty party has no redeeming and useful gifts to society. these two youths fall into that category. If prisons in Trinidad are anything like american prisons they won't last very long (i.e. Jeffery Dahmer, and most molester and those who committ crimes against children).
 

Are you serious Kami. What could have possessed those two teenagers to commit such a crime. This is madness in our communities. They should be charged and treated as adults, and the punishment should be death to them the same way they did the child.

From all reports they were "normal" teens.I read somewhere the younger one spoke of strong sexual urge.Apparently,he raped the boy as well.Am still shaken up by this.How does a parent get through something like this?

It's like hell has no more demons. They all on earth possessing people to do things like this. When I read about it, I just sat in front of the screen. There are no words, none at all to express my full reaction to this. Why him?, why the children?
 

Speechless. I don't understand. That poor trusting child who couldn't even defend himself. The pain of his last moments alive. The anguish of his parents. I look at my own son and my eyes are blurry with sadness.
