Oscars
Best Motion Picture Of The Year:
The Aviator
Finding Neverland
Million Dollar Baby
Ray
Sideways
Interesting lineup here.Black films don't get much justice so probably Million Dollar baby or Aviator will win.
Performance By An Actor In A Leading Role:
Don Cheadle - Hotel Rwanda
Johnny Depp - Finding Neverland
Leonardo DiCaprio - The Aviator
Clint Eastwood - Million Dollar Baby
Jamie Foxx - Ray
Good to see two black men nominated here.I would like either of them to win but I got a feeling Dicaprio will get it.All these biographical movies remind me of when Denzel was robbed for Malcolm x and Hurricane.
Performance By An Actor In A Supporting Role:
Alan Alda - The Aviator
Thomas Haden Church - Sideways
Jamie Foxx - Collateral
Morgan Freeman - Million Dollar Baby
Clive Owen - Closer
Want Morgan Freeman to win so bad.Thomas Haden Church I think will win though.
Performance By An Actress In A Leading Role:
Annette Bening - Being Julia
Catalina Sandino Moreno - Maria Full Of Grace
Imelda Staunton - Vera Drake
Hilary Swank - Million Dollar Baby
Kate Winslet - Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Hilary Swank is my pick
Performance By An Actress In A Supporting Role:
Cate Blanchett - The Aviator
Laura Linney - Kinsey
Virginia Madsen - Sideways
Sophie Okonedo - Hotel Rwanda
Natalie Portman - Closer
Probably Natalie Portman or Virginia Madsen
Achievement In Directing:
Martin Scorsese - The Aviator
Clint Eastwood - Million Dollar Baby
Taylor Hackford - Ray
Alexander Payne - Sideways
Mike Leigh - Vera Drake
Scorcese,I think
Screenplay Based On Material Previously Produced Or Published:

Yeah, Jamie Foxx is SO talented--he has an awesome range, but Hollywood's been sleepin' on Don Cheadle for TOO LONG! Kami, yu prob'ly called it wif DiCaprio, he IS de boy-next-door in American terms, but Cheadle deserves an award!
I must be really out of it Kami. Would you believe that I have not seen any of those movies...not even one. I need to get a life.
Great minds really do think alike! We're almost in tune...I think Clint Eastwood is getting that Oscar for directing!
i think halle berry should get an oscar for playing an actress in general. i mean, we all now she's not, but like, everybody in hollywood still seems to be fooled.
Yes I prefer Cheadle over Foxx too.Btw Denzel never deserve no Oscar for Training Day.Russell Crowe was the man that year
